Introducing the Rendille Festival for Indigenous Peoples and Pastoralism, taking place from 7th to 9th in Loglogo, Marsabit County.
This second edition of the festival is a vibrant celebration of Rendille identity, pastoral heritage, and indigenous knowledge systems — bringing together community, culture, and tradition in one powerful experience.
This year’s festival is also part of the wider celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day (9th August), and International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralism amplifying the voices, cultures, and lived experiences of indigenous and pastoral communities.
